General Introduction

• GS-100 series gauss meter (also called Tesla Meter) are designed to measure various types of magnetic induction intensity, including DC and AC magnetic fields, radiation, magnetic remanence, and the Earth's magnetic field. The Gauss meter, a specialized tool for assessing the magnetic induction intensity of magnets, is among the most widely used instruments in magnetic measurement.
• This hand-held digital Gauss meter is controlled by a single-chip microcomputer and is capable of measuring magnetic induction in DC and AC magnetic fields, radiation magnetic fields, and other types of magnetic fields. It is portable, user-friendly, and features a liquid crystal display. The instrument offers several functions, including measuring/peak holding, unit conversion between mT and Gs, automatic zero-setting, and range conversion between 200 mT and 2000 mT.

Remarks: This Gauss meter does not measure frequency. The frequency range listed in the table refers to the operational frequency of the Gauss meter.

Field of Practical Work

• Magnetic field distribution on the surface of permanent magnet materials (commonly referred to as the measurement scale of the magnetic field);
• Magnetic field within the magnetic circuit structure;
• Magnetic field generated by devices designed to attract ferromagnetic materials, such as iron removers, magnetic separators, magnetic chucks, electromagnets, or demagnetization devices, whether powered by permanent magnets or AC/DC currents;
• Environmental magnetic field, including the geomagnetic field and residual weak magnetic fields from ferromagnetic materials.
